Cynthia Nadine Brooks
March 20, 1957-January 23, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce Cindy’s unexpected passing.
Cindy was born in the Squamish General Hospital to Leonard (Scotty) and Roberta McCrae.
Most of you likely will remember this lady as the little firecracker. Your paths likely crossed at some time around Squamish whether shopping, serving you at a restaurant, a store, or as a neighbor at some point.
Cindy was transported home to Squamish Hospital where she stayed with her family at her side until she gained her angel wings when she joined her eternal family in heaven on January 23, 2021. She is truly grateful for each and every one of you and your friendships. We know she has enjoyed being your lifelong friend.
Cindy is predeceased by her parents, brothers Sandy (Linda)and Neil McCrae, brother in law JL Green and sister in law Nicolette Iacavone.
Cindy is survived by her husband Joe of 48 years, she will be greatly missed. She was Joe’s ROCK, best friend and life will never be the same without her. Children Pam (Enzo), Joey (Danielle), Scott, Sister Marguerite McCrae, and brother in law John Brooks, grandchildren, Austin, Marcus, Emilio, Odelle, Mikayla, Evann, Korey, Danny (Shannon), Karla, Jason, Jessica friends and extended family.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will have a Memorial Service via Zoom on February 13, 2021 at 1pm with Squamish Funeral Chapel.
